Well after being to WHT and so many cases of
bad hosting, at the time ImHosted seem to be a
problem free host by the looks and research of
it.
I went and signed up, being excited and all and
getting back onto track on the site designs again.
Just under slightly 24 hours later, I received
my confirmation email with account info.
Logged on and began uploading my files, checking
cpanel too see the new features since last time
I was hosted. I had to email support because one
of my scripts didn’t run, I wasn’t
very technical knowledge about the hosting scene
at that time and they were very fast to tell me
they don’t support 3rd party scripts but
the error was just simple permission related so
they told me how to get it working again.
The next few months everything was fine. I couldn’t
be any happier with such a host then things started
going down hill, they had like 3 servers. The
one I was on use to be down like 30mins a week
and even at worst 15 mins downtime like every
two days, I was only running a personal site so
I didn’t mind much but 2 months down the
track when you start using your host more you
will start to feel the impact. I started a public
site about funny pictures around the net which
gathered 250 registered members in 2 weeks time
and having down time wasn’t something I
could just ignore anymore so I moved on.
Ended my hosting the next week and moved onto
myacen.com which is a review I write next.
I suppose you could found the best host but when
they grow, then when you tell others of such great
host and the word spreads on like fire. The customers
that they bring in lowered their business in my
opinion, they simply shoved too many customers
on a machine and support was starting to become
slower. Support wasn’t answered in 12 hours
anymore; it wasn’t common on my last week
with them that answers were answered three days
later.
